Renee's eyes widen. She knows? He told her! Melaine keeps talking. "He doesn't want you to leave the firm...he knows you've worked hard, and deserve every chance you get." Melaine continues. Renee is slightly agitated by the comment. Still, she appreciates all Melaine's done for her. She's discerned that her boss genuinely took her under her wing, to mentor, and grow her creative gift, but her boss' boss, and founder of the company - Colin Winston - had been cruel to her. As far as she is concerned, he is a predator.

Not well written

Book is really juvenile. Sex scene was lackluster and seemed to be written by a teenager. Overall turning this into a series is ridiculous. Work on your writing skills, word usage and for goodness sake write a love scene worth reading.

Story line falls flat

I did not enjoy this book there was no connection between the couple that was suppose to have a love interest, nothing leading up to it. the guy was a jerk who didn't understand the word no, the author didn't show us why this girl seemed so exception to this guy that he would change his whole life for this woman.

I kind of hated Renee. She was weak and whiny, and a scared little girl. I know she was young, but that is no reason to pretend like you can't take anything, you can't talk, you just can't say what you need to say. She acted as if she was afraid of Colin and that really annoyed me.

Ansel Adams (1902-1984) was one of the great artists and environmentalists of the twentieth century. In a remarkable career spanning more than sixty years, he made over 40,000 photographs. Adams was a master teacher as well as a master photographer, believing that his approach to photography was universally applicable. From 1955 until 1984 he conducted annual photography workshops, first in Yosemite and later in Carmel. But his most important and lasting contribution to the artistic, practical, and technical aspects of black-and-white photography was through his legendary technical series (revised several times since the initial publication in the early 1950s): The Camera, The Negative, and The Print.

Although it was written in a time where digital wasn't even dreamed about, all the concepts that really matters to produce high quality photographies are there, independently of the employed technology.

This is the second book purchased having recently lost the first. This book thoroughly explains the zone metering system, a system that is the foundation of understanding light and exposure. Mr. Adams goes through step by step the process of how film records light but never surrendering the final image and vision to the meter. A must read for all aspiring photographers.

The actual classification and construction of finite reflection groups takes place in Chapter 5. where we have in part followed the methods of E. Witt and B. L. van der Waerden. Generators and relations for finite reflection groups are discussed in Chapter 6. There are historical remarks and suggestions for further reading in a Post lude.

Another great Donna Fletcher novel!

I can't believe that more people have not reviewed this or some of Donna Fletchers other novels.
I love romance novels and have several favorite authors in this genre, but I have never felt compelled to write a review before until now. This is a great book. The characters are very well developed and the romance is perfect. I would highly recommend this novel along with other titles by this author. My favorites are, "The Buccaneer", "Untamed Fire", "Rebellious Bride", and "San Francisco Surrender". All of these are novels that I read again and again.

Untamed Fire blew me away there's nothing better than reading a great
sexy romance book. Gaby Alvarado was my best friend from the beginning
to end, never letting anyone treat her bad, and speaking her mind! Even
if it meant it would get her in trouble. To be honest she actually
reminded me of myself I stand up for myself no matter what. I loved her
quirkiness, honesty and her confidence, all of them being amazing
qualities. She wasn't afraid of saying what was on her mind! That was
brave of her and it made you grow more and more fond of her throughout
the book. Her relationship with Rafael reminded me a little bit about
about Romeo and Juliet only the forbidden love part. They were from
different societies and it was an obstacle that stopped them from
wanting to act on they're feelings. Rafael was a strong male character,
he put up with so much and never gave up. He was determined to get
Gaby to follow his orders, even if more than half of the time she really
didn't.

I will say that although I really liked the characters I'm still
a bit iffy about Rafael he was so darn sweet half of the time but he was
really harsh most of the time I get that deep down he was hurting but I
felt like he was always mad for no reason when he shouldn't have been.
But all in all I love him. The author described everything right to the
bone I absolutely enjoyed the writing style, especially because some of
it was in spanish, it made the storyline seem way more breath taking. I
felt so many emotions while reading it it seemed so real.

I thought Rosalita was the sweetest person ever when she came into the story i
thought oh no this girl is going to be a horrible person but i was
wrong. I was left wanting more in the end, not only from Rosalita but
also from Rafael and Gaby. I don't know what else to say about this book
all i know is that i loved it way more than words can explain! Another
book to add to my re-read list 5/5 stars.

Sugary Sweet Romance

As I began reading this book, I was somewhat intrigued. I had never read a book that featured Hispanic lovers. And indeed, it was a spicy romance from the beginning. As much as Gaby and Raphael butted the heads, it was evident that the sparks between them were more than anger. It was true love from the beginning even though he was a ranchero and she was a peasant. I found many of their early interactions quite interesting, to say the least.

When the mystery portion of the book was introduced, I began to wonder how things were going to be tied together. But I found that there was not a lot of focus on the mystery, so I figured it would not be very important to the heart of the story. I discovered later that I was wrong.

As the romance continued to evolve between Gaby and Raphael, my interest in them started to wane. While there were not detailed bedroom scenes (thank you), I began to get tired of them spending every evening in bed having hot, heavy sex. I realize that my morals are a little different--I grow tired of characters engaging in sex while not married. Notwithstanding, I found that my sense of reality was causing me to lose interest. Who has time to have unbridled sex every night and all night long without restraint? I found myself rolling my eyes at the relationship between the two characters.

As the mystery became important and was solved, I found some parts of that a bit unrealistic, and by the end of the book, I was happy about it ended, but I did not care as much as I did in the beginning of the book. I am grateful that profanity was almost nonexistent in the book, and that made the reading of the book quite a pleasant experience. But when it comes to substance, this book missed the mark for me.

If you like sugary-sweet romances with a spirited female, I can guarantee that you will like this book. I did not find the book overly historical, but for the true romantic, this book should be a dream.
